Pull up a chair

I always was a daydreamer... The murals that adorned the walls of my elementary school growing up both fueled my imagination and created a vibrant learning environment that encouraged me to stay engaged. They made the classroom feel safe and cozy, yet exciting. Now, it is my delight to bring that same wonder to the next generation. Relishing a deep sense of nostalgia, I bring the masterful illustrations of classic children's books to the walls of schools, doctor's offices, and homes to create a cozy yet whimsical ambiance. My unique approach to indoor mural painting with the use of acrylics on white semi-gloss wall paint blends my background in watercolors with a love of large-scale immersive artwork. It brings me so much joy to see the awed look on a child's face as they behold their favorite stories, now larger than life. But what I love most is when they realize a human painted it! In this high-tech plastic-wrapped world, I seek to rehumanize the spaces we inhabit and inspire others to do the same. Many kids, watching me paint, say, "I want to be an artist when I grow up!" Whether or not they eventually pursue that aspiration, I hope I've given them a glimpse into what is possible, and I hope I've done the same for you.
